In addition to being one of the most feted nights of the year for the fashion industry on an awards show, the Golden Globes utilized it's platform in 2018 as a way to unveil the new action plan initiative, "Times Up" to fight sexual harassment, sexual abuse, and workplace gender inequity in Hollywood and beyond.  In  light of this year's shocking sexual predator revelations in Hollywood, and in unity with the women and men who have come forward to share their experiences in this realm, Golden Globe attendees chose to wear black for the evening to show their support for the movement.
