-New Urban TALK- Getting Real About Marriage, Family, Friendship & Forgiveness: Gospel & TV Superstars David & Tamala Manning Talk Their New 'Love Project', "US AGAINST THE WORLD"

Going 30 Years Strong: Award-winning singer and actor Tamala & David Mann join forces to spread their secrets to marital longevity in their new dual project, "Us Against the World: the Love Project".

David & Tamela Mann's newest joint book & record project, "Us Against the World"  is available on amazon.de.  The book "Us Against the World: Secrets to Love, Marriage, and Family", is available in hardcover,  mp3 CD, Kindle format, or by  Audible audio.

You may know them from singing with Kirk Franklin and  The Family, or streams of films and tv shows from Tyler Perry including "Meet the Browns" and the Madea movies, but they're joining forces on their own platform to bring good old-fashioned family advice to the masses.  Just in time for the Season of Love, award-winning gospel and tv stars Tamela and David Mann are currently promoting their latest creative endeavor, a joint project celebrating their 30 years of love, togetherness & family entitled, "Us Against the World".

"Us Against the World" includes the double release of the Mann's duo album, "...The Love Project", and their book, " ...Our Secrets to Love, Marriage and Family" ,  in which they delve into the highs, lows, joys, and sometimes sorrows of marriage.   Though it's a secular departure from their gospel roots,  "Us Against the World: the Love Project" contains references to their faith in some of the songs, across a track listing that takes listeners on a journey from urban contemporary styles to classic romantic soul, and country /folk influences.  Check out a sample of  some of our favorite tracks from the album below:

In addition to currently touring for the project, the Manns have also been making a strong showing on the media circuit to promote "Us Against the World" in tv and radio markets on both faith-based and secular circuits.  Recently the pair stopped in New York for an extended interview on I Heart Radio's hip-hop program, "The Breakfast Club", notoriously nicknamed "America's Most Notorious Morning Show" for a no-holds-barred discussion about the project and how it came to fruition. The couple, who have known each other since they were teenagers, arrived ready to share all what they've learned through 30+ years of marital & family lessons on life, love, communication, conflict,  and child-rearing - as well as raw honest truths about the lives they led as singles before they found each other.  In a hilarious and often provocative interview handled with good humor and grace on the part of the guests, the Manns share some life lessons with the generation coming behind on the importance of family and learning to be a good spouse.
