-New Urban Entertains- Wine Tips from the First African American Siblings to Found a Wine Company, The McBride Sisters

Getting Ready for the Holidays with Your Favorite Rosé; (L) Sisters Robin (standing) and Andrea McBride Surveying Their Grapes for McBride Sisters Collection
Looking for a few tasty ideas for holiday entertaining  and which wines to pair with them? Take a few tips from the McBride Sisters, owners of the U.S.'s first and only African American vineyard founded by sisters, McBrides Sisters Collection.  The road to winemaking for the McBrides  is quite an interesting one and almost reads like a novel;  the  went through most of their lives sisters never knowing the other existed ...until their dying father told one of them to find the other. Each sister was living on opposite sides of the planet leading an entirely separate life believing  they were each an only child,  and coincidentally each had an affinity for wine.  In true cinematic fashion, the newly discovered sisters found each other, bonded immediately, discovered their shared passion for wines and embarked on the creation of McBride Sisters Collection- a company that has been profiled in international publications ranging from  WWD, to O Magazine,  from Wine Magazine to Forbes.

The McBride sisters recently stopped by the new TV One network talk show "Sister Circle" to share their back story and talk wine parings for the holidays: while The Mc Bride Sisters Collection is not yet  available in Europe, the following segment has some pretty tasty ideas for holiday recipes,  including 4 basic grape varieties of wine (red, Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc & Rosé) and the best dishes with which to pair them:
