Florence Kasumba has been putting in serious work & making a name for herself across the pond in Hollywood - winning coveted roles on the American silver screen and showing no signs of slowing down anytime soon. Most recently, the leggy, Ugandan born, Berlin-based beauty starred in the
NBC television series
"Emerald City" (2016-2017), and also appears in the Hollywood big budget features
"Captain America: Civil War" (2016),
"Wonder Woman" (2017) and
"Black Panther" (German release slated for 2018). As of today,
Disney has officially announced that Kasumba will be co-starring as
Kenzi in its' live action version of
"The Lion King", along with music superstar

Dr, Klein. Reprising her role as
Shenzi from the Hamburg stage production of the iconic musical,
The Lion King live action film marks her 10th credited screen appearance in an American entertainment vehicle, and is set for release in 2019.
