This past Sunday Black Hollywood took to the red carpet in grand style at 2018's 90th Academy Awards. Feauturing old faces and new, among some of the biggest fashion splashes of the evening can be credited to the young, gifted, and
gorgeous cast of the runaway Marvel hit, "Black Panther", as they showed up in various capacities as Oscar atttendees, presenters, winners (Lupita Nyong'o) and in the case of co-star Daniel Kaluuya, 2018 nominee for Best Actor (for his portrayal in the social thriller "Get Out"). Also in attendance were various black women from the social activism arena including Janet Mock,
Black Lives Matter co-founder Patrisse Cullors, and
#MeToo founder Tarana Burke, this year's nominees in catagories of Best Direction, Best Original Song, and previous Academy Award winners and voting committee members Whoopi Goldberg, Octavia Spencer, and Viola Davis. Check out the stunning red carpet looks after the jump:
