As we've seen on fashion runways and at local retailers,  designers have had their sights firmly fixed on futuristic looks in high shine metallics with silver as it's primary color of choice for the end of the year.  We've seen silver show up as glitter, crystals, sequins, & paillettes, and in laminated & weathered leather from casual daytime pieces to dramatic evening wear .
Futuristic, high impact ensembles walked the Fall 2017 runways in everything from formal gowns to trench coats; sometimes as a pop of color, often worn from head-to-toe. Thankfully, retailers everywhere caught on with far more wearable takes on the trend, opting for a bevy of separates available in their collections like pants, parkas, sweaters, & boots. Outside of a formal evening event,  silver can absolutely be worn for daytime, sparkling up the simplest of ensembles, and looks great paired with jeans or as an accent to your favorite basic black pieces. Check out a few of our favorite streaks of silver below to add a bit of sparkle and shine to your holiday (and as we've now discovered of the latest designer shows) all throughout the year 2018.
